About this place
Judo Club “Topalov” – Sofia
Judo Club “Topalov” was established in 2014 and has been developing judo in Sofia for over 10 years, focusing on children. In addition to technique and physical training, the club instills discipline, respect, and character. The head coach is Kostadin Topalov, a multiple national champion in sambo and judo and a graduate of the National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski”. His team consists of coaches with extensive competitive experience.
The club conducts group training sessions according to a schedule in four locations: Spartak, Mladost, Slatina, and the village of Bata. It also offers individual training sessions upon request. Its athletes regularly participate in tournaments and camps both domestically and abroad, and the club also organizes its own international tournament, Topalov Open.
Training sessions in the hall are held only during the school year – from September 15 to June 15. No training sessions are conducted during the summer vacation.
